Overview This project is a stand-up workstation for the home office. Through my research, I have discovered that prolonged sedentary work can lead to discomfort in the neck and upper limbs and even an overall suboptimal state of health. Fortunately, a standing workstation can provide a potential solution to this issue.
Design
Process IDEATION
After analyzing my research, two primary requirements emerged: the ability for individuals to stand while working and the need for space-saving furniture. I commenced the process by hand-drawing, aiming to conceptualize three potential solutions: a foldable workstation, a secluded and private home office, and wall-mounted furniture.


REFINEMENT
Taking into account practicality and the feedback obtained from the questionnaire, I have chosen to further refine the foldable workstation.

In an effort to cater to a wide range of users, I utilized anthropometric data ranging from the 5th percentile to the 95th percentile to determine the workstation's dimensions.
